Introducing DJ and multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald. Ian has been a musician and music lover his entire life. At home as a kid, he grew up listening to his father’s vast music collection every day. Soaking up the sounds, He was inevitably exposed to a wide spectrum of musical genres. From blues, funk & soul and jazz to classic rock and world music, Ian loved it all. Once he was old enough to pick up an instrument, he started with piano, moved to guitar and eventually became an eclectic DJ and Producer.

He then went on to form the world-renowned band Monophonics, touring the globe for 15 years. It was in Monophonics that he gained his ability to perform in front of crowds with comfort and ease. This experience naturally enhanced his ability to DJ, helping him weave through multiple styles and adapt to the crowd’s energy live in the moment.

Ian’s latest project called FUTVRST is a synthesis of disco-era dance music and modern hits.

The culmination of Ian’s time spent as a music producer, sound engineer, DJ and touring musician makes him the perfect choice for anyone seeking a premium musical experience. He is able to enhance the atmosphere of any event, party, or wedding and provide a solution for any needs that the client may have.
